Coronavirus/COVID-19 Alert

Access Community Health Network (ACCESS), is continuing to work with state and local health officials to adapt the proper safety protocols. With the exception of our ACCESS at Gary Comer Youth Center location, all ACCESS health centers remain open and are focused on supporting patients with essential care needs.

For the safety and health of both our patients and workforce, we are rescheduling all non-urgent care appointments as telehealth appointments. This new appointment type allows you to speak directly with an ACCESS provider over the phone without leaving the comfort of your home. If you are interested in a new telehealth appointment, please call us at 1.866.267.2353.

If you have an upcoming urgent appointment, we ask that you call your health center before coming into our facility. It’s critical that we know if you have a fever, cough, difficulty breathing and/or a history of recent travel or known contact with someone with the Coronavirus.

For the continued safety of patients and staff, ACCESS has implemented a temporary no-visitor policy. We are asking all patients to arrive to the health center by themselves. If a patient is under 18 or requires extra assistance, there will be a limit of one companion.

ACCESS has also taken additional precautions to increase the daily cleaning and disinfection of our sites to make sure we do our part to stop the spread of this virus.

Remember: The best way to avoid getting or spreading a virus is to wash your hands with soap, cover your cough or sneeze, stay in isolation if you are sick and avoid people who are sick.
